We're partnering with a fast-growing EdTech SaaS business that's transforming how education organisations operate through innovative technology. As they continue to scale, they're looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead their development function and play a key role in delivering their ambitious product roadmap.
This is a genuine leadership position where you'll be responsible for building capability, driving delivery excellence and creating a high-performing engineering culture. While you'll bring a strong technical background, particularly with PHP and Laravel, this role is about leading people and delivery rather than being the most hands-on developer in the team.
The Opportunity
You'll lead a team of around 10 software developers, working closely with Product and Delivery to ensure engineering efforts are aligned with business priorities and customer needs. You'll shape engineering best practices, improve delivery predictability and mentor a talented team as the business continues to grow.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Engineering Manager or existing Head of Engineering who enjoys combining technical leadership with people development.
