We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Greenhouse Production Operatives to join our team on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a hands-on role working both inside greenhouses and outdoors, supporting the day-to-day production of plants. No two days may be exactly the same, and the role would suit someone who enjoys practical work and working as part of a busy team.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Planting and potting plants
  • Picking and moving plants
  • Preparing plants for dispatch
  • Working on a production line
  • General plant and greenhouse production duties
  • Moving and handling plants and materials
  • Keeping work areas clean and tidy
  • Cleaning up after yourself and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily production requirements
  • Working independently when required
  • Working both inside greenhouses and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Carrying out any other general duties required to support the production operation

We are looking for people who are:

Previous greenhouse or horticultural experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Working Hours: Start times will generally be 7:00am, 8:00am or 9:00am, depending on operational requirements, with shifts usually finishing at around 4:00pm. This is temporary ongoing work, with the potential for regular hours for reliable workers.
