Production Supervisor £32,000 – £34,000 Monday – Friday (Days) Widnes BX2 are recruiting for a Production Supervisor for a well-established client based in the Widnes area. Production Supervisor Skills, Experience, and education required: * Previous experience as a Production Supervisor * Experience working within a fast-paced environment * Experience completing 121’s, appraisals, performance reviews etc. * Experience managing a team of operatives. * Good knowledge of Health & Safety Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities and Duties * Observing company procedures for Health and Safety as detailed in Handbook. * Assist the Production Manager in day-to-day tasks and responsibilities. * Running day to day operation of production team ensuring maximum efficiency and resource planning meets production requirements. * Ensuring the processes and procedures within fabrication are always followed and any non-conformities raised immediately and highlighted to Production Manager. * Checking the quality of work and making sure the relevant standards are met along with the production quality forms are utilised and followed. * Checking work completed by Welding/Fabrication team for signing off and certifying the Quality to the Standard. * Producing monthly update reports for Production Manager on all aspects of fabrication and any successes or challenges. * Driven approach to improve fabrication times, processes and steps based on continuous improvement and driving the continuous improvement mentality through the team. * Informing management of any known or potential production delays or any aspects that may contribute to delay or have negative impact on manufacturing and successful provision of product and service to customer. * Keeping accurate records of time spent on each job allocated. * Liaising with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure future jobs are prepared ahead of production schedule. * Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees. * Oversee and coach employees. * Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance with facilities team.
