Oldham BX2 are recruiting for a Production Planner for a well-established client based in the Oldham area.
Skills, Experience, and Education Required:
- Previous experience as a Production Planner
- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Competent using Microsoft packages (Excel and Word)
- Proven problem solver
- Proactive approach to customer needs
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan and prepare production schedules to meet business and customer demands
- General control and housekeeping of Production Work Orders
- Maintain and communicate department KPIβs
- Proactively seek and implement improvements to the Production planning and execution processes
- General administrative duties for the Production Department
- Work within business guidelines and procedures. Notify Manager of Safety Hazards.
- Review Warehouse stock availability
- Establish and communicate daily work priorities to Supervisors
- Communication between Production and Customer Service and Purchasing Functions
- Effective capacity management of production lines, material and labour resources
- Creation of new item numbers and associated BoM information in Navision
- Duties as reasonably requested by your manager
