Production Planner

Production Planner £30,000 – £33,000 Monday – Friday (Days) Hyndburn – Lancashire BX2 are recruiting for a Production Planner for a well-established client based in the Lancashire area. Production Planner Skills, Experience, and education required: * Experience as a Production Planner / Production Scheduler * Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook & Excel) * Experience with MATTEC (Desirable) * Analytical, problem solver with excellent attention to detail. Production Planner Key Responsibilities and Duties * Check material produced from previous day’s production against stock scanned onto the system * Create daily tool change schedule * Attend production meeting and communicate planned schedule to all attendees. * Run reports on re-order levels and schedule in any production needed. * Review and update re-order levels when needed. * Complete reports using SAGE for all customers and input and update the stock requirement. * Use system to schedule the production plan. * Issue tool change sheets that are required. * Plan any rework required and issue rework sheets * Liaise with all department to make sure targets are met and expectations are aligned. * For night/weekend production issue a written plan broken down by shift with all priorities and changes planned in. * Liaise with Buyer on cartons needed. * Determine manpower, components and raw materials needed to cover production demand. * Assist with monthly stock take. * Administration duties when needed.
