Skills, Experience, and Education Required:

  • Previous experience within a Food manufacturing environment
  • Electrical / Mechanical fault-finding experience
  • Experience with PLCs
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering (Desirable)

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Having experience working in a 5S environment and ensuring a tidy and clean as you go policy.
  • Schedule work with current engineering team and liaising with the production team to ensure all machines are well maintained and ready for production.
  • Assess the competence and future proof the existing small team.
  • General maintenance of machinery.
  • Assist other Engineers where necessary.
  • Fault finding on the machinery within the factory.
  • Support multiple product lines.
