We are BX2 Ltd recruiting a Moulder Operator to support our client’s busy distribution site in Bradford. You will be responsible for operating and overseeing moulding machines, ensuring the production of top-notch products that meet our quality standards. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and dedication to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate moulding machines according to product specifications and production schedules.
- Load raw materials into moulds, secure moulds in the machines, and start the moulding process.
- Monitor and adjust machine parameters to ensure consistent product quality and avoid defects.
- Perform regular inspections of moulds and equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
- Trim, finish, and inspect moulded products to meet quality standards.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets efficiently.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-conscious mindset.
- Good physical stamina to handle the demands of operating machinery and handling products.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
Hours of Work:
48 hours over 4 days/nights (Monday to Thursday). 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM / 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, day shift for training then once trained it would be permanent night shift. Due to the nature of the hours, own transport is preferred.
