Lead Assembler
We are BX2 Ltd is acting as an Employment Business for this vacancy.

- £14–£15 per hour | Monday–Friday | 37.5 hours per week | Overtime available
We Are BX2 are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Assembler to join a well-established UK manufacturing business.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for assembling products and components while providing day-to-day support and guidance to a small team of assemblers.
The Role
- Assemble products using hand and power tools
- Work from engineering drawings and work instructions
- Fit components including hinges, locks, brackets, seals and electrical accessories
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Help coordinate workloads and support the assembly team
- Train and support new team members
- Identify and report any quality or production issues
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
About You
We're looking for someone with
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or production - Essential
- Experience leading, supporting or mentoring a team
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- A reliable, proactive and hands-on approach
Desirable: Experience with electrical assembly/wiring, metal or fabricated products, or a forklift licence.
