The Organisation
Our client is a large, national, multi-site property and services group, operating across England and Wales, with a strong reputation for operational excellence and customer service. The organisation is continuing to grow through an active and well-established acquisition strategy and is investing in strengthening its integration capability to support this growth in a structured, sustainable way.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a senior Integration / M&A Project Manager to lead the end-to-end integration of multiple acquisitions across the business. This is not a pure “IT” project management role. The focus is on ensuring that newly acquired businesses are fully integrated operationally, with people onboarded, processes aligned, data trusted, and customer experience protected, from deal close through post-go-live stabilisation and into BAU.
Current Roles Suited for This Position
- M&A Integration Manager
- Post-Merger Integration (PMI) Manager
- Business or Operational Integration Manager
- Programme or Senior Project Manager with acquisition or transformation experience
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a pipeline of parallel acquisitions from deal close through stabilisation and handover to BAU
- Establish and maintain robust integration governance, including plans, RAID, dependencies, milestones and senior-level reporting
- Coordinate integration activity across people, process, data and technology
- Own and oversee data migration quality, including validation, reconciliation and formal sign-off
- Ensure compliance with regulated and client-money environments
- Drive operational readiness at go-live, including:
- Staff onboarding and training
- Process alignment and documentation
- Support models and hypercare
Technology Environment
Integrations will involve a combination of:
- A core industry-specific operating platform and associated third-party applications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance)
- Microsoft 365
- Networks, telephony and security
(Hands-on configuration is not required; strong ownership of data quality and outcomes is essential. You will be supporting a Head of Data.)
Experience We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering M&A or acquisition integrations, including post-go-live stabilisation
- Strong programme or project management background with disciplined governance
- Demonstrable ownership of data migration quality and reconciliation
- Experience integrating business operations and technology simultaneously
- Comfortable operating in regulated, compliance-driven environments
- Strong stakeholder management across operational, technical and leadership teams
Personal Profile
- Delivery-focused with a strong eye for detail
- Pragmatic, structured and resilient under pressure
- Confident driving change through people, not just systems
- Clear sense of ownership from deal close through operational maturity
- Customer-focused, with a commitment to service quality throughout change
Why This Role?
This is a rare opportunity to take true ownership of integration outcomes in a growing organisation where integration quality directly impacts people, customers and performance, not just project milestones.
