Job Type Permanent Location OL2 Pay £35,000 per annum + Team bonus Job Overview BX2 Ltd are recruiting for Production Team Leader to support our clients busy site in the OL2 area. We are seeking a proactive, dynamic, and experienced Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations within a manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for leadership, process optimization, and high-quality production standards. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production employees to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes. Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for process improvements. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times. Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, and maintenance activities. Coordinate with other departments (quality control, maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth operations. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, safety updates, and key objectives. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members. Address any operational issues promptly and work towards effective resolutions. Ensure that production targets are met on time, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Oversee the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of plastic extrusion machinery. Hours of Work 3on 3off / 6am - 6pm/ 6pm - 6am (rotational shift - candidates must be available for both shifts) Applicants must be available to work all three shift patterns. Benefits Holiday pay accrued in line with current statutory legislation Staff shop Weekly pay every Friday Requirements Experience within a Manufacturing environment. Experience leading a Manufacturing / Production team, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. Strong understanding of ISO 9001. Experience troubleshooting defects and optimising processes.
