BX2 are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Class 2 Left-Hand Road Sweeper Driver / Operative to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone with previous Class 2 experience who is confident operating left-hand drive vehicles and enjoys working independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role As a Road Sweeper Driver / Operative, you will be responsible for operating a left-hand drive road sweeper vehicle across designated routes, helping to maintain roads, construction sites, industrial areas, and public spaces to a high standard.
You will work as part of a professional team but should also be comfortable managing your daily duties independently.
The role is not solely driving-based and will involve a hands-on approach, including general maintenance and upkeep duties associated with the vehicle and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 2 left-hand drive road sweeper vehicle Complete scheduled cleansing routes efficiently and to a high standard Carry out daily walkaround vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Empty water tanks and waste containers when required Ensure the sweeper vehicle is kept clean, maintained, and fuelled Assist with manual labour and general operational duties as needed Follow health
