The Kingswood Repair Café is a monthly community event where people bring broken items to be repaired by volunteers. It’s about reducing waste, sharing skills and creating a friendly space where people can come together over a cuppa while giving everyday items a second life.
Welcomers are the friendly first point of contact for people visiting the Repair Café and help everything run smoothly.
What you’ll do:
- Greet visitors and explain how the Repair Café works
- Register items and match people with an appropriate repairer
- Help manage the flow of visitors and answer basic questions
This role is ideal if you’re organised, approachable and enjoy meeting people.
Time commitment: First Thursday of every month, 3:00pm – 6:00pm (includes set-up and clear-down)
