Are you an experienced and results-driven Meetings & Events professional ready to take the next step in your career? I have an exciting opportunity to lead the Marketing & Events Sales team at one of the UK\’s flagship hotels, part of a global network of 150+ properties.
As a Meetings & Events Manager, you will be the driving force behind event success – leading a talented team to deliver seamless, creative, and high-impact meetings, events, and conferences across multiple event spaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your team to exceed sales targets and revenue goals
- Manage the events diary and maximise profit through effective yield strategies
- Oversee client interactions, show rounds, and end-to-end event execution
- Collaborate with Sales, Revenue, and Food & Beverage to optimise event space and customer value
- Set and monitor daily/weekly targets and performance KPIs
- Drive repeat business through proactive client engagement
- Forecast trends, analyse data, and contribute to revenue meetings
- Recruit, train, and develop team members with structured plans and operating procedures
- Implement promotional offers and support marketing campaigns
Qualifications
- A proven track record in event management and sales
- A natural leader with strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal)
- Problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail
- Creative, and customer-focused
- Commercially savvy with a drive to exceed budgeted targets
- Familiarity with OPERA Cloud and Delphi is a strong advantage
