The Role: We’re looking for a creative wordsmith bursting with ideas to join our team. You’ll work side‑by‑side with our Creative Director, marketing teams and creative studio to bring our events (primarily PURE Life Experiences & Further East) to life with smart and brand‑driven copy. From creative annual campaigns to emails and social posts, web copy and sales decks, you’ll work from concept to completion and execute excellent brand storytelling for our B2B audience.
Responsibilities:
- Write and/or edit creative copy for brand, marketing and sales communications (emails, social media posts, PDFs/brochures, event signage and website updates).
- Generate ideas and develop a tone of voice for each annual event campaign, shared across multiple platforms (including digital, multimedia, print and experiential).
- Ensure all copy is of the highest editorial standards and free from typographical and grammatical errors.
- Ensure consistency in brand tone of voice and narrative across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with our marketing and creative teams on briefs that fulfil business aims and successfully appeal to the relevant target audience.
Qualifications:
- Impeccable command of the English language.
- Minimum 3 years copywriting experience working in an agency or as part of an in‑house marketing team.
- Demonstrable experience in generating innovative, fit‑to‑brief creative ideas and copy while displaying a thorough understanding of brand tone and narrative.
- Ability to quickly switch your writing style from one brand tone of voice to another, without losing flair.
- Proficiency with social media channels including Instagram and LinkedIn; you understand how to tailor copy to each of these platforms.
- Demonstrable experience maintaining excellent internal communication to manage expectations and competing timelines – highly organised.
- Highly creative and imaginative with an editorial and narrative mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a clear, confident communicator.
- Commercial mindset and able to tailor your words to the marketing objective that’s been set for you.
- Passion for travel – essential! Knowledge of the travel / events industry is a plus.
