In this role you’ll lead on high-risk and sensitive ER matters, support and develop a small ER team, and partner closely with senior stakeholders to deliver commercially focused, pragmatic people solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing operational ER with wider strategic influence, using insight and data to drive improvements across policy, process and manager capability.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading complex ER cases, investigations and appeals
- Acting as the escalation point for sensitive employee matters
- Coaching and developing ER team members and managers
- Supporting organisational change activity including restructures and TUPE
- Using ER data and trends to influence business decisions
- Helping shape ER policy, best practice and wellbeing initiatives
- Supporting senior leaders with pragmatic, risk-aware advice
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience managing complex ER casework within a large or multi-site organisation
- Excellent UK employment law knowledge
- Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level
- A commercially minded and solutions-focused approach
- Strong coaching, analytical and decision-making capability
- Passion for delivering fair, consistent and people-focused ER practice
- Experience within an international environment would be advantageous
