We are looking for a HRBP to join this small, high growth professional services business. The HR function is in build mode, and this is a fabulous opportunity to provide a HR service to a cluster of offices, based out of Milton Keynes.
The role will be incredibly varied, where you will need to be flexible, adaptable, and prepared to 'get stuck in' where needed. Reporting to the HR Manager your work will include:
- Working as a Partner to local Managers and Leaders, supporting them in leading their teams and addressing day to day people issues while aligning (and contributing to) the strategic people plan
- Managing day to day HR queries including employee relations issues, while upskilling managers on how to handle and mitigate these
- A focus on continuous improvement, particularly around processes, systems and ways of working
- Support and advise on performance review cycles
- Embed and champion employee engagement activities, while contributing to the engagement strategy and supporting the development and maintenance of an inclusive and positive culture
- Project work connected to ongoing business growth and acquisition activity
About you: We’re looking for someone with proven experience as a HR Generalist who:
- Has experience within a small, high growth environment, where you are comfortable with pace and ambiguity
- Is comfortable working on a stand alone basis day to day, with the support of a wider HR team at the end of the phone (or laptop!)
- Has strong knowledge and working experience of UK employment law and HR best practice
- A strong communicator, able to independently build relationships with key stakeholders and network credibly and effectively
- Is comfortable with some local / regional travel, as you will be required to support some smaller locations on an ad hoc basis
- Ideally is used to a professional services environment or similar
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in formalising and evolving HR within this growing professional services business. You will be the face of HR for your dedicated office and client group, with the chance to make a real impact.
Please note, there is no formal hybrid policy and this business values face to face relationships, however equally they recognise the value and importance that flexibility brings and are happy to discuss individual needs.
Equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to everything that we do. We are committed to these values, and they are central to our mission. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities, and we are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
