Marketing Account Manager

We\’re on the lookout for an experienced Marketing Account Manager to join a specialised marketing consultancy that helps socially-conscious businesses improve their marketing and achieve their goals.
We’re looking for an ambitious and client-focused individual to help our client achieve their challenging, but exciting, growth targets. The right candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent client service and building strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners. Success in this role means you\’ll have a direct impact on the growth of both the business and its clients.
The Role:
- Manage client projects and budgets with a Project Manager, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard that delights the client.
- Be the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and acting as their trusted expert. You\’ll interpret their needs, create effective briefs, and manage a variety of multi-channel campaigns from start to finish.
- Apply best-practice marketing principles and strategic thinking to all projects, helping clients continuously improve their marketing efforts.
- Oversee the financial health of your accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, quoting, and managing revenue.
- Work closely with the team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on brief.
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience in marketing with a strong understanding of how to leverage various marketing channels and the technology behind them, including CMS and analytics.
- A strategic thinker with a broad knowledge of marketing in practice, proficient with tools like Loomly (or Hootsuite), Google AdWords, MailChimp, and Google Analytics.
- An excellent verbal and written communicator with high emotional intelligence, able to interpret complex requirements, manage expectations, and gain buy-in from others.
- Numerate with solid financial acumen and a commercial focus.
- Strong leadership, delegation, and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- A strong relationship builder, a proactive team player, and a sociable, confident person who people enjoy working with.
