Our client provides the essential software that helps building owners and managers stay compliant, reduce risks, and keep their properties running safely and efficiently. As Senior Marketing Manager, you will report to the Director of Marketing and take full charge of a key part of the marketing plan. To excel in this role, you will bring proven SaaS experience, allowing you to navigate the specific challenges of the software-as-a-service landscape. You’ll be responsible for making sure projects are delivered on time, hit their targets, and constantly improve, while also leading a small team of managers and assistants to help them turn big-picture ideas into high-quality work.
The Role
- Create and lead the marketing plan for your area, making sure budgets and timelines are set to hit sales and revenue targets.
- Manage all marketing campaigns including email, social media, and ads to find new customers and create high-quality leads.
- Use data to see what’s working, improve how leads are turned into customers, and make sure our client gets the best possible results for every pound spent.
- Support and develop your team, providing coaching and regular feedback to help them grow and succeed.
- Work closely with the Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to make sure everyone is aligned on goals and new leads are followed up.
- Manage your part of the marketing budget and work with outside agencies to ensure projects are finished on time and within cost.
- Make sure all marketing work is professional, follows our client’s brand guidelines, and meets high standards for reporting and compliance.
- Act as a key advisor to the Director of Marketing, helping to solve problems and make important decisions for the department.
Skills we are looking for
- Proven experience working within the SaaS sector, with a deep understanding of software-led growth.
- A proven track record of creating marketing plans that bring in new customers and grow revenue within a software (SaaS) business.
- Experience running successful campaigns across multiple channels, such as paid ads, email, and content marketing.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and improve performance to ensure marketing spend leads to real sales and profit.
- Experience leading several complex projects at once, making sure they stay on schedule and within budget.
- A deep understanding of modern marketing tools and systems used to find and attract new customers.
