Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a pan‑European SEO strategy that balances local market nuances with global brand goals.
- Act as the lead educator and go‑to expert, embedding SEO best practices across the entire organisation.
- Define project scopes, sitemaps, and technical roadmaps in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Serve as the central SEO coordinator for local offices, providing the tools and insights needed to boost regional SERP visibility.
- Oversee CMS configurations (robots.txt, sitemaps, canonicals) and ensure all digital assets are localised and optimised.
- Monitor site health and SEO KPIs to identify growth opportunities and inform data‑driven improvements.
- Partner with Content, UX, and Digital teams to ensure a seamless, search‑optimised user journey.
Qualifications
- Degree or professional qualification in Digital Marketing or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of on‑page, off‑page, and technical SEO.
- Proficiency in industry tools including Google Analytics, GTM, Looker Studio (Data Studio), Search Console, and Semrush.
- A solid understanding of UX/UI principles, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
- Experience managing international, multilingual, or multi‑node websites.
- Familiarity with development standards (HTML, CSS, .NET) and modern tech stacks.
- Experience with enterprise‑level CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore) and Google Merchant Center.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and task management tools like JIRA and Microsoft Teams.
- Proficiency in additional European languages is a significant plus.
The top end of the salary range is reserved for candidates with extensive experience in pan‑European SEO strategy, technical backlog management, and the alignment of SEO with UX and localisation.
