We are searching for a senior commercial HR leader to join a global technology business at a significant point in its evolution.
The organisation is already operating at scale, with several thousand employees internationally, but remains firmly in growth and transformation mode. The environment is ambitious, commercially demanding and still evolving.
This is a high-profile partnering role, working directly with several senior commercial leaders globally located across distinct parts of the revenue organisation.
The successful individual will be expected to operate as a credible adviser to senior leadership, bringing judgement, challenge and clarity to complex people and organisational decisions.
A significant part of the mandate will centre on workforce planning and organisational effectiveness, ensuring the business has the right structure, capability and investment in place to support its next stage of growth.
The role also carries leadership responsibility for a geographically dispersed HRBP team and has reach well beyond the UK.
The profile
We are particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate:
- A strong track record operating as a senior HRBP within a globally complex, commercially focused organisation
- Genuine commercial acumen and an ability to connect people decisions directly to business performance
- Credibility and presence with senior executives
- Experience operating across multiple stakeholders, geographies and competing priorities
- Significant workforce planning, restructuring or organisational design experience
- A pragmatic approach and the confidence to challenge constructively
- Leadership of HRBP capability across an international or matrix environment
This is likely to suit someone who has already built credibility at senior HRBP level and is looking for a broader, more commercially influential mandate.
The attraction is the combination of scale, complexity and access.
You will work closely with the CPO and senior commercial leadership, and have the opportunity to influence how the organisation builds capability and structures itself for future growth.
For the right individual, this is a substantial HR leadership role in a business where the people agenda is closely connected to commercial strategy.
Initially offered on a 12-month interim basis with a view to being made permanent, and we welcome applications from immediately or shortly available candidates. Hybrid working is 2 days a week in the office.
Equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to everything that we do. We are committed to these values, and they are central to our mission. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities, and we are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
