HR Business Partner - Liverpool (Hybrid, 3 days/week) - Β£50,000–£60,000 - Permanent

Who is the business?

A well-established, values-driven organisation where people sit at the centre of both the customer experience and the growth strategy. With a strong heritage behind them, they're now entering an ambitious next chapter - investing in transformation, expanding their customer base, and building the capability to match their growth plans.

What is the role?

This is a newly created HRBP role, designed to complement the existing team's strengths while bringing fresh experience and ideas into the function. Reporting into the CPO and working closely with the wider HR team, you'll balance strategic projects with day-to-day generalist support. Responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Supporting the rollout of new values and performance frameworks across the business
  • Developing colleague communications and engagement surveys, linked to EVP and employer brand
  • Owning employment legislation and regulatory change updates, keeping the team ahead of what's coming next for the sector
  • Supporting OD and change programmes alongside the wider HR team
  • Partnering with leaders to identify risks and opportunities within their teams, and shaping practical solutions
  • Working with selected third parties on leadership development programmes and recruitment needs as they arise

This list isn't exhaustive, but it reflects the breadth and variety of the role. The foundations here are strong, this position is about helping build on them.

Who are we looking for?

A true HR generalist who has worked across multiple areas of HR throughout their career, and who's genuinely passionate about the value good HR brings to the employee experience. You'll be confident partnering with senior leaders, comfortable challenging where needed, and supporting them to lead well.

Experience within financial services, and/or familiarity with the SMCR framework, is highly desirable. Candidates from other regulated environments are also welcome to apply.

The salary range for this role is Β£50,000–£60,000 plus benefits. To reach the top of the range, you'll need to demonstrate a strong generalist background alongside relevant financial services sector knowledge.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week based in central Liverpool.

Equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to everything that we do. We are committed to these values and they are central to our mission. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities, and we are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require
