What is the role?
A broad and incredibly generalist HRBP position reporting into the Senior HRBP. You will be joining a HR team undergoing significant transformation, which is working towards becoming a true, value add and strategic partner to the business. There is lots of work to do in terms of creating brilliant basics, and establishing strong foundations to build from.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Senior HRBP to create processes and ways of working that serve the business in an effective and pragmatic way
- Working with line managers to coach and guide them through their people management responsibilities
- Supporting and championing proactive people activities, from recruitment through to development, performance and recognition programmes
- Using technology and insights to form data driven decisions based on trends
- Supporting the ongoing change and transformation agenda by making recommendations and working closely with the business to understand what they need from HR
Who are we looking for?
A strong generalist who is perhaps operating at Senior HR Advisor level or Junior BP, who has experience in busy, operational environment such as logistics, manufacturing, retail etc. Solid employment law knowledge is critical, as is experience and knowledge across the full employee lifecycle.
While this is a permanent role, we are particularly keen to see candidates who are immediately available or on a short notice period and can also consider temp / contract to perm. Longer notice periods will however also be considered.

A salary of up to £45,000 plus a competitive benefits package. This business operates a hybrid working model, which is 3 office days and 2 home / remote. Expect quarterly travel to their site in the North East. This is a supportive and busy environment, where you must be willing to roll your sleeves up and be keen to learn and develop with the support of strong leadership.
