Internal Communications Business Partner
Location: Greater Manchester (hybrid, 3 / 4 office days)
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000
Contract: 6 month FTC
Are you an experienced Internal Communications professional who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments? Do you enjoy shaping comms that help colleagues navigate large-scale change?
We’re supporting an operational, unionised business through an exciting period of high-profile transformation. To help drive this forward, we’re looking for an Internal Communications Business Partner to join on a 6-month FTC.
The role
Reporting to the Internal Comms Director, you’ll take the lead on transformation communications, ensuring colleagues are kept informed, engaged, and supported throughout ongoing change programmes. You won’t be doing it alone, there’s a strong Internal Comms team in place who will continue to manage day-to-day activity, while supporting you as you lead this project.
Your work will include:
- Leading communications for change and transformation programmes.
- Ensuring colleague voice, impact and experience are at the centre of every message.
- Engaging a diverse workforce across multiple sites and roles, tailoring communications to resonate with different audiences.
- Leveraging a variety of channels while maintaining consistent tone, clarity and alignment with the wider business strategy.
- Partnering with senior leaders and stakeholders to bring key initiatives to life.
About you
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You’ll bring:
✔ Strong internal communications and engagement experience in a complex organisation.
✔ Ideally, a background in operational, unionised environments.
✔ A proven ability to design and deliver compelling change communications.
✔ Confidence influencing stakeholders at all levels, with excellent written and verbal skills.
