Our client is an independent data and insights firm delivering highly differentiated macro intelligence powered by proprietary positioning and flow data. Their platform provides institutional investors a real-time understanding of who owns what, where flows are going, and how positioning is shaping markets. Sitting at the intersection of data, macro strategy, and trading intelligence, our client is helping clients anticipate risk, avoid crowded trades, and capitalise on market opportunities.
As they scale their presence, they are looking for a Content Marketing Executive to support the Head of Marketing in delivering a comprehensive programme of insight-led content that builds awareness, credibility, and commercial momentum for their brand.
The Role
This is a junior, execution-focused role with responsibility for owning the tactical content calendar and supporting the delivery of high-quality, insight-led marketing across our client’s core channels. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and internal research colleagues to turn the business’s proprietary insights into compelling content for institutional investors. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and an ability to translate complex market themes into clear, credible, and commercially relevant communications. This is not a purely administrative role. You will be expected to proactively manage content delivery, identify opportunities to amplify our client’s research, support campaign execution, and help build the firm’s awareness and credibility in the marketplace. You will also support the production of sales enablement tools that help our client’s commercial teams communicate their value proposition clearly and consistently to sophisticated institutional audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the tactical content calendar across email, website, social media, webinars, events, and other marketing channels.
- Support the Head of Marketing in delivering a consistent programme of insight-led content aligned with our client’s commercial priorities.
- Work closely with research, strategy, and commercial teams to identify timely market themes and turn them into compelling marketing content.
- Draft, edit, and publish content including market commentary, newsletters, social posts, website copy, event materials, campaign assets, and client-facing collateral.
- Repurpose long-form research and insights into short-form, accessible content designed to increase reach and engagement.
- Coordinate the production and distribution of content campaigns that support brand awareness, lead generation, and client engagement.
- Support the production of sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, one-pagers, campaign assets, client follow-ups, product collateral, and event materials.
- Use template design tools such as Canva to create polished, on-brand content assets for digital, event, and sales channels.
- Use AI tools effectively and responsibly to support content drafting, repurposing, research, editing, and faster delivery of marketing outputs.
- Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, well-structured, and suitable for a sophisticated institutional investor audience.
- Support the promotion of webinars, events, reports, and product updates across relevant marketing channels.
- Track and report on content performance, using engagement data to help refine future content planning.
- Maintain strong internal relationships with research colleagues to build a broad understanding of macro markets, positioning, flows, and our client’s differentiated data.
- Help strengthen our client’s voice in the market by ensuring content is timely, credible, commercially relevant, and consistently delivered.
- Support broader marketing activity as required, including CRM updates, campaign coordination, event preparation, and website content management.
Who We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in content marketing, financial marketing, communications, journalism, or a related role.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, investing, data, or institutional research.
- Comfortable working with technical or specialist subject matter and turning it into engaging, audience-appropriate content.
- Working understanding of template design tools such as Canva, with the ability to create professional, on-brand marketing and sales materials.
- Working knowledge of AI tools and how they can be used effectively and responsibly to deliver high-quality content at pace.
- Some exposure to sales, business development, or client-facing teams, with an understanding of how marketing content can support sales enablement.
- Ability to turn research, product, and commercial messaging into practical assets that support lead generation, client engagement, and revenue growth.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain a structured content calendar.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing polished, accurate content.
- Proactive, curious, and confident working with senior internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, CMS tools, CRM systems, LinkedIn, analytics platforms, or marketing automation tools would be beneficial.
- Financial services, fintech, data, research, or investment industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
