The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Young Peoples Team Leader within our Cheshire West and Chester Team. As part of a wider management team, you will be responsible for leading the team working with young people, supporting staff and service users.

Key duties include:

  1. Exhibiting excellent management and leadership skills.
  2. Line managing Young People Practitioners.
  3. Managing a small caseload delivering high-quality substance misuse interventions to young people across Cheshire West & Chester.
  4. Delivering effective early intervention and prevention work.
  5. Liaising and networking with professionals working with young people to maintain effective partnerships and improve outcomes.
  6. Safeguarding all individuals involved with our services, including staff.

The Service

Our Cheshire West & Chester Young Persons Service is vibrant, creative, and passionate. Our teams work collaboratively to support young people within Cheshire West.

We operate as an outreach service, providing 1-2-1 key working sessions in schools, colleges, and community centers.

Location

The core hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with some flexibility and occasional out-of-hours work.
