What we’re looking for

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑paced and growing organisation. We’re looking for a Recovery & Well‑being Practitioner for Cheshire West & Chester (Base: Ellesmere).

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver substance misuse treatment and recovery support for individuals with drug and alcohol needs across Cheshire West & Chester.
  • Provide excellent drug and alcohol services to clients and their significant others, including family members, friends and carers, to facilitate positive outcomes.
  • Manage a caseload and coordinate and deliver assessment and evidence‑based interventions (brief and structured), recovery planning and aftercare planning.
  • Deliver structured group programmes.
  • Deliver harm reduction advice, psychosocial interventions, needle and syringe exchanges, blood‑borne virus testing and interventions, drug testing and overdose prevention advice.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence with all Via policies and safeguarding principles.
