Responsibilities

  • Handle telephone, email and in‑person enquiries with empathy, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Act as the consistent point of contact for ongoing queries related to new referrals, appointment bookings, or service processes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records on the case management system.
  • Identify risks during referral screening and day‑to‑day contact, escalating concerns in line with Safeguarding policies.
  • Assist in other administration areas, including prescriptions and invoicing when required.

Qualifications

  • Passion for working with people affected by substance misuse or other vulnerabilities.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse groups.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Desirable experience with safeguarding principles and handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and be a good listener.
