Working flexibly across the Wakefield District. Hours: 18.5 Hours. End Date: 01/04/2025. Reference: W048/25.

An opportunity has arisen within our Estates Team for a highly motivated individual to lead and manage a busy Estate Management Team in one of our Neighbourhood teams.

What you'll be doing:

As an Estate Manager you will develop estates that are safe, sustainable and have excellent environmental quality, creating confident communities. You will promote and deliver customer service excellence within the estate management service, always in a manner consistent with the Customer Charter and WDH’s Business Strategy.

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualification at Level 5 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework in relevant subject area;
  • Significant experience in a management position;
  • High levels of enthusiasm and the ability to work in pressurised situations;
  • The ability to deliver high levels of performance to meet the agreed targets and standards;
  • Effective leadership skills, using communication, negotiation and motivation;
  • Clear presentation skills: both verbal and written;
  • Evidence of a customer focused approach to service users whilst developing the strengths of individuals.
