A place to start things. A place of opportunities. A place to grow. A place where you feel you belong. These are the places we provide for today and for the future. This is what marks us out as one of the leading players in the social housing sector. We have over 32,000 homes across the north of England, home to tens of thousands of people. Our people are approachable and professional. But we're not afraid to be optimistic and show our passion for what we do to support our customers. We share a common vision, acting confidently to ensure we remain at the forefront of making it happen. Together, we're building better futures and vibrant communities.

You will also be involved in managing internal systems, monitoring correspondence and serving as a key point of contact for HR policy guidance and procedural support to Vico Homes colleagues.

It is an exciting time to be joining us and here are some of the initiatives that you will be involved in:

  • Monitor the HR Advisor inbox, process referrals to Occupational Health and related services and manage the timely collation and reporting of absence data
  • Provide administrative support to HR Business Partner on disciplinary cases, including preparing documentation, arranging hearings and taking notes at meetings
  • Act as the first point of contact for colleagues at all levels, offering guidance on HR policies, procedures and statutory leave processes

What we're looking for: This role may be ideal for an experienced HR Assistant or Administrator looking to take the next step in their career. You will have:

  • A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) or equivalent in HR or a related field, with evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Strong HR administration experience, including advising managers on issues, interpreting employment legislation and handling confidential matters
  • Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism
