We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team in Old Romney, Kent. If you're a skilled technician who takes pride in keeping vehicles roadworthy and compliant, this is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing operation.

Duties

  • Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on LGV/HGV vehicles
  • Completing PMI inspections to DVSA standards
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
  • Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance requirements
  • Keeping accurate maintenance and inspection records

Skills

  • Proven experience as an LGV/HGV Mechanic or Technician
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive mindset
  • HGV Licence (Class 1 or 2) – desirable, not essential
