We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cloud Architect to join a dynamic team and be at the forefront of a technology transformation programme driven through innovative cloud solutions. As a senior member of the Cloud Centre of Excellence team, you'll leverage your expertise to design, implement and optimise cloud infrastructure that drives performance, scalability and security. This role will appeal to someone who has a passion for solving complex challenges, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to make a significant impact.
This is a pivotal role in the design and delivery of AWS hosted cloud infrastructure components in line with the client's strategy and aligned to the strategic cloud design. You will be equally comfortable building a POC of a new solution as 'picking up the pen' and sketching an idea on a whiteboard to an agile team. You will work closely with the Project teams to provide direction, prioritisation and technical insight in articulating and delivering architectural choices within various AWS services and solution methodologies.

- Automation and Scripting: Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python and/or Terraform to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Security Awareness: Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross‐functional teams and contribute to collaborative projects.
- Continuous Learning: A passion for staying updated with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications including but not limited to AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
