Job Description
PAY AWARD PENDING.
This is a part-time post, the salary will be pro-rata to the hours worked.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of front desk reception services within Clydebank Leisure Centre. They are the first point of contact for customers visiting the leisure centre and are responsible for the control of admission to the facility. They will require to undertake a range of duties with a flexible day to day variable need.
The promotion of events and services for Leisure Services is an integral part of their role and they assist the customer service and support team in the effective management of the membership database.
The Receptionist will contribute to the provision of an effective and efficient quality service, ensuring customer focused service delivery and the achievement of objectives, financial targets and performance standards within the establishment.
KEY ACTIVITIES
• Provide an effective first point of contact for customers entering or telephoning the centre.
• Assist in the provision of a high quality, customer focused service which meets the key objectives, financial targets and performance standards of Leisure Services.
• Maintain effective dialogue and communication with customers and respond to enquiries as appropriate
• Control of admission to the facility including issuing of entry tickets and ensuring customer compliance with swimming admission policies
• Contribute to assisting with customer contact processes including complaint handling and resolution ensuring a responsive service. Promote and re-enforce a strong customer focused, responsive, flexible \’can do\’ culture throughout Leisure Services.
• Cash handling and reconciliation
• Assist the Customer service and support team in the effective administration of membership databases
