This position does not offer sponsorshipWD-40 didn't get its name by accident β it's Water Displacement, formula 40. Whoever named it wasn't afraid to say βwe're on attempt 40, and we're not stopping until it's right.β That's the mindset behind this role, too. This isn't a maintain-what's-already-built job. You'll be one of the people responsible for evolving how WD-40's core technology environment actually works β the connections between our ERP and everything plugged into it β deliberately, with a real roadmap, not a patchwork of quick fixes. What Youβll Be DoingLead the architecture connecting our ERP to every system plugged into it β EDI, iPaaS, custom integrations, ISVs β across a company still expanding its D365 footprint.Lead a ~12β18 month project to evaluate, select, and modernize the EDI and integration technology our business runs on.Lead a technical architect and a team of EDI/integration specialists split across the UK and US β people who are good at their jobs and don't need to be told how to do them, just where to point them.Be the person who can sit across from a solutions architect, understand exactly what they're trying to build, and tell them β with real technical grounding, not guesswork β what it'll take to build it right.Be the thread tying together how WD-40's systems work across every region.A note on scope: If your experience has centered on EDI transaction management, mapping, or trading partner support, this role is a different scope than that β it's about evaluating and selecting the technology (iPaaS, not just EDI tooling), building the modernization roadmap, and leading the team of EDI/integration specialists who do that hands-on work. What Youβll Bring To The RoleHands-on fluency with iPaaS platforms and where that technology is headed β more than traditional database depth, this is what matters most for this role.A working understanding of integrations and EDI β you know when you'd reach for an iPaaS platform over point-to-point integration or a tool like Azure Data Factory, and the practical difference between an API and a custom integration.A track record of building a roadmap and actually finishing it β vendor evaluation, a real decision framework, and the follow-through to execute. You've managed people before, not just deliverables β this is a hands-on leadership role.A leadership style that builds people up β you connect the dots between people, teams, and technologies rather than working in a silo.Epicor Kinetic experience is a plus.Total RewardsTotal Rewards$ β $ / year base salary + 10% - 15% profit-sharing contribution to your retirement
