In support of advancing the organization’s global learning strategy linked to business objectives, this position designs, develops, and produces engaging and effective multimedia content for various learning platforms, ensuring accessibility and alignment with educational goals. While this role’s primary duty is digital media production development, it also provides instructional design support for the Global Learning function. Leveraging a range of digital media development tools, educational technologies and associated best practices, this role is responsible for providing time-sensitive digital media production and production support to SMEs, projects, front-line relationship management, and exceptional service to all stakeholders, as prioritized by the Lead Instructional Designer. This role requires UK work authorization. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and produce high quality eLearning courses to meet organizational goals.
  • Design and develop course storyboards and templates.
  • Record, edit, and produce multimedia learning content (videos, animations, audio).
  • Create digital media components for prescribed course delivery platforms utilizing prescribed development methods and tools.
  • Create digital assets for eLearning courses and video production including audio and video editing in SCORM.
  • Interpret, shape, and translate provided content and instructional concepts into digital media to provide an effective online learning experience.
  • Develop visually engaging illustrations, graphics, animations, motion graphics, and other multimedia elements to support the course content and eLearning materials.
  • Apply adopted UX principles to the creation of all materials and interfaces, and leverage broader digital teaching/learning design expertise in pursuit of solutions to meet desired learning objectives.
  • Apply internal course development standards, including those addressing copyright and web accessibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to establish clear learning objectives for training courses, as well as understand and agree on the learning outcome and behavioral change required.
  • Revise digital media to incorporate stakeholders feedback, including translating content in multiple languages.
  • Design and create course supporting materials and media (e.g. flyers, booklets, audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.).
  • Conduct all necessary and prescribed proofing and testing of created components.
  • Source digital media assets following all standards and best practices for using third-party materials.
  • Assist with the acquisition of copyright permissions when necessary.
  • May be required to create custom assets and interfaces using non-standard development technologies and techniques.
  • Work with the LMS Administrator to structure courses and curricula offerings.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Learning team to brainstorm, solve problems, and review each other’s work.
  • Optimize audio-visual quality, add subtitles, and ensure brand/style compliance.
  • Manage AV-related technical needs for virtual or hybrid training events.
  • Explore and implement creative AV tools to drive learning (e.g., microlearning, AR/VR or interactive media).
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders, including all final SCORM files, assessments/tests and final video content.
  • Keep up to date with the field of online learning, emerging educational technology, and available authoring tools.
  • Perform other related activities as needed to support corporate objectives.
  • Act in the best interest of the company by applying stated company values/code of conduct and acting in congruence to company strategies and priorities.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • Undergraduate degree in human-computer interaction, interaction design or related discipline (e.g., educational technology, user experience design, digital media design); or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience in a similar role producing and supporting the production of digital media- including some or all of: web design, graphic design, audio and video editing and motion graphics.
