We are looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer/ Remedial Plumber to join WCS Group which is part of Marlowe Environmental Services Group. The successful candidate will be ideally based in Belfast and will travel to sites throughout North of Ireland.

Main Duties
- Water Sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Descaling of shower head and hoses
- TMV Servicing and replacements
- Tank Cleans and inspections
- Plumbing remedial tasks
- Cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of the cooling towers
- Endoscopic inspection of calorifiers
- Mains injection pipework chlorination works
- Technical service (closed heating and chilled system testing, cooling tower weekly/monthly checks and water treatment of boilers)
- Acid descaling of boilers, towers, and condensers
- To normally act as the lead engineer or ‘responsible person\’ when working in a team of two or more technicians ESTs
- Plan to ensure work as scheduled is completed on time, and to maximum efficiency
- Liaise with client representatives as required
Requirements
- Hold a Plumbing qualification Level 2 or above in NVQ City & Guilds
- Engineered water plant and equipment servicing, refurbishment, and/or installation of replacement (advantageous)
- Pre-Commission cleaning of closed water systems in accordance with BSRIA BG29 & BG50 (advantageous)
- Cold water cold storage tank building – sectional fibreglass tanking systems (advantageous)
- Demonstrate behaviours in line with our company values: Respect, Accountability, Reliability & Integrity

- Confined space trained (advantageous)
- Good level of computer skills
- Hold a full driving licence
