As a Forest School Leader, you will be providing high quality care and education to the children, inspiring them to explore nature with our specialised approach to outdoor learning.

Our Forest School gives children the opportunity to learn and grow in a natural setting, allowing them to admire and explore the environment. We believe that this form of learning is incredibly important for children to develop in a healthy way, as it teaches them how to respect and care for nature and its ecosystems.

To be considered for this role, Level 3 Full and Relevant Forest School Certification is required for this Forest School Leader role.

Pay: Β£28,496 per annum. based on experience ( 40 hours per week ).

About Our Nursery

The Avenues Montessori Nursery is situated in the charming Cliftonville area of Margate. Our nursery features two well-equipped and stimulating rooms, designed to provide an optimal learning environment. With free-flow access to a garden space, children have ample opportunities to explore and discover at their own pace. The Avenues Montessori Nursery is situated on Northdown Road, Cliftonville and is only a short walk from Margate town centre. Parking is available on the roads close to the nursery.

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, youll:

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate childrens development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
