About Our Nursery
Sunhill Day Nursery Colchester is a purpose‑built nursery within the serene grounds of Braiswick Primary School. We provide a secure, stimulating environment with eco‑friendly building technology. The nursery has four age‑appropriate rooms and extensive outdoor play areas, including a sensory garden, climbing apparatus, mud kitchen, and a bug hotel.
What Your Role Involves
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
Qualifications
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
