This role is based in the UK and will be working on site in our UK based College. In order to comply with our mandatory pre-employment checks, the successful candidate will be required to provide original identification documents in person to our UK based People Services Department. Please note that you will be working across our Pershore, Moreton Morrell and Leamington campuses across the week, with a requirement to support work at our other sites as needed. Therefore, it is essential that the successful candidate has a full clean driving licence and is able to travel to sites as needed. To note that Moreton Morrell and Pershore campuses are not easily accessible by public transport.

Any offers of appointment will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (formerly CRB), a certificate of good conduct if applicable, plus receipt of satisfactory references, Occupational Health clearance, an understanding of safeguarding and qualifications verification. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position as you will be working within 'Regulated Activity' within a specific place (i.e. the College). This role is classed as working within Regulated Activity. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. BACKGROUND TO THE POST
To act as a trusted business partner to campus leaders and managers, delivering high-quality, proactive, and strategic HR support. The People Services Business Partner will have end-to-end responsibility for all aspects of the employee lifecycle at their dedicated campus or campuses, with support from the Operational Team around Recruitment, Learning & Development and Payroll. The postholder will maintain a visible and accessible presence across designated college sites, embedding themselves within the Campus Leadership Team to strengthen staff engagement and wellbeing on campus.

In order to support during busy exam periods, you may be asked to undertake exam invigilator duties. The College will provide training. The list of duties is not exhaustive but outlines the main features of the post at appointment and may vary as the job evolves without affecting the nature of the duties or the responsibility level.

Essential Attainments:
- CIPD Level 5 or above
- Significant experience of working at a HR Business Partner level or senior advisory level.
- Experience of providing strategic and operational HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers
- Full, clean driving licence with the ability to travel between our College locations as required.
- Experience of effectively supporting organisational change, restructuring or workforce transformation
- Evidence of continuing professional development and willingness to maintain CPD to stay relevant and compliant
- Experience of effectively working autonomously, providing generalist HR advice in a busy, multi-site environment.
- Strong working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and UK employment law.
- Proven experience of successfully managing or supporting high volume employee relations casework.
- Experience of working in a unionised environment and ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with our recognised unions
- Highly organised, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident IT user with experience of HR systems and Microsoft Office and Google suite.
- Ability to offer an approachable, visible, and proactive presence on campus.
- Practical, solution-focused approach to people management
- Professional, discreet, and reliable under pressure.
- Strong commitment to delivering an excellent HR service to staff and managers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with managers, staff.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Willingness to work flexibly to meet service needs
- High level of professionalism, discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information
- Ability to and experience of, coaching managers to be able to confidently and correctly manage people issues
