Join Our Marketing Team

Location: Peterborough hybrid Available

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm

At ProGreen, part of WCF Ltd, we're looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on marketing experience who enjoys a varied role across email marketing, ecommerce, content creation, social media and campaign delivery.

You'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of our marketing plans and campaigns, helping to drive engagement, increase brand awareness and support commercial growth. Working across a range of channels, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, contribute new ideas and continually look for ways to improve performance and customer experience.

The Role

  • Deliver email marketing campaigns and automated customer journeys through Klaviyo.
  • Manage and maintain website content, ensuring products, collections and marketing materials remain accurate and up to date.
  • Support the optimisation of product listings across online marketplaces to maximise visibility and sales.
  • Create engaging content across a range of digital channels, including social media, email, website and video.
  • Support SEO activity by monitoring performance and implementing improvements to increase online visibility.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of paid digital marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including digital assets, brochures and direct mail campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance, providing recommendations to support continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, agency partners and suppliers to support the delivery of the marketing plan.

How You'll Work

As an employee-owned business, WCF places equal importance on what we achieve and how we achieve it. You'll be expected to demonstrate our six Guiding Principles:

  • Champion – take responsibility.
  • Celebration – recognise our wins.
  • Curiosity – be better.
  • Choose – do the right thing.
  • Collaboration – communicate.
  • Camaraderie – work together.

About You

  • Experience in a marketing role or a relevant marketing qualification.
  • A good understanding of digital marketing, including email, ecommerce, content and social media.
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confident building relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to suggest ideas and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • An interest in creating engaging content and learning about technical products.

Experience with Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, paid media, short-form video or Shopify would be advantageous, but isn't essential. We're more interested in strong marketing fundamentals, sound judgement and a willingness to learn than experience with every individual platform.

Why WCF?

As a part employee-owned business, you can share in our success through various share schemes. We offer 33 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays), access to our life insurance and pension schemes, as well as access to employee discount programs, assistance programs, and exclusive WCF perks (from discounted pet food to glamping holidays).
