The Role:
This is a driving job with a difference, that is a hands-on role for someone who likes to be physically active throughout the day, working in all weather conditions, delivering fuels and lubricants to a wide variety of domestic, agricultural and commercial customers within the dedicated region. You'll be responsible for performing multi-drop deliveries from the regional depot, and will be the face of WCF to our customers. You’ll need to think on your feet, work independently and maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance and service. This role can be challenging; however, the varied nature of your day-to-day deliveries would be highly rewarding for the right person. Please note: During peak and busy periods, overtime can be a regular expectation of the role. In return, all overtime is paid at an enhanced rate, giving you the chance to boost your earnings while helping us meet critical demand. Flexibility and reliability are key and highly valued.
About You:
- We’re looking for someone with grit, professionalism and strong customer service values.
- A qualified HGV Class 2 driver (ADR certificate with Class 3 in tanks is a strong advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate).
- Driver CPC certified.
- Practical, methodical and safety conscious.
- Can manage physically demanding tasks and be comfortable with manual work during daily operations.
- Have excellent understanding of tachograph regulations.
- Capable of working independently and taking ownership of tasks and responsibility.
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
- Willing to work flexible hours to support customer needs especially in colder months.
