Full-Time | 40 Hours (Mon–Fri, with occasional weekends)

The Role: What to Expect
This is a hands-on driving role for someone who likes to be physically active throughout the day, working in all weather conditions, delivering fuels and lubricants to a wide variety of domestic, agricultural and commercial customers across the North-west region. You'll be responsible for performing multi-drop deliveries, loading and unloading your vehicle daily, either at our depot or at designated fuel terminals, and be the face of WCF to our customers. This role will involve working out of our Carnforth depot and Leyland. You’ll need to think on your feet, work independently and maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance and service. This role can be challenging; however, the varied nature of your day-to-day deliveries would be highly rewarding for the right person. Please note: Overtime is a regular and expected part of the role, especially during our busy seasons. In return, all overtime is paid at an enhanced rate, giving you the chance to boost your earnings while helping us meet critical demand. Flexibility and reliability are key and highly valued.
About You
We’re looking for someone with grit, professionalism and strong customer service values. You'll thrive here if you're:
- A qualified HGV Class 2 driver (ADR certificate with Class 3 in tanks is a strong advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate)
- Driver CPC certified.
- Practical, methodical and safety conscious.
- Capable of managing physically demanding tasks and comfortable with manual work during daily operations.
- Have an excellent understanding of tachograph regulations.
- Capable of working independently and taking ownership of tasks and responsibility.
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
- Willing to work flexible hours to support customer needs especially in colder months.
