Class 1 ADR Fuel Tanker Driver – Twilight Shift (Spalding)
Company: WCF Chandlers
Shift: Twilight (2pm‑10pm), Full‑time (Mon‑Fri), 40 hours per week.
Base Pay: £32,760+ per annum, overtime at enhanced rates. Overtime is a regular part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fuels and lubricants to a wide variety of domestic, agricultural and commercial customers and WCF depots across the North East, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk region.
- Load and unload the tanker vehicle at depots or designated fuel terminals.
- Act as the face of WCF, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Work independently, manage physically demanding tasks and maintain safety and compliance.
- Adhere to tachograph regulations and ensure proper vehicle documentation.
- Respond to changing customer needs and work flexible hours, especially during colder months.
Qualifications
- HGV Class 1 driver licence (ADR certificate with Class 3 in tanks advantageous; full training provided if necessary).
- Driver CPC certified.
- Practical, methodical and safety conscious.
- Physical stamina for manual work during daily operations.
- Good understanding of tachograph regulations.
- Strong customer‑focused communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
