Our Skipton office serves clients throughout the Yorkshire Dales and the North of England. This is an exciting opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You will be based at our Skipton office, working alongside our experienced team of rural surveyors, planners and environmental consultants gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of rural property and land matters, whilst simultaneously working towards your BSc (Hons) in Rural Enterprise and Land Management in a RICS accredited degree with all tuition fees funded through the Government apprenticeship scheme.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with valuations and sales of rural properties, farms and agricultural land
- Supporting the team with landlord and tenancy matters, including rent reviews and tenancy agreements
- Attending client meetings and property inspections
- Assisting with rural planning matters and preparation of plans
- Developing your understanding of the rural property market and land agency work
- Has achieved or is predicted to achieve, a minimum of three A Levels (or equivalent)
- Has a genuine interest in rural property, agriculture and the countryside
- Is self-motivated, organised and able to manage the demands of working and studying simultaneously
- Has strong communication skills, a professional manner and a true team player
- Holds a full UK driving licence (or is working towards one)
- A genuine pathway to becoming a Chartered Surveyor
