We are looking for our new cohort of Graduate Chartered Accountants to join our External Audit team, based in our Glasgow office.
Following our biggest graduate intake yet — welcoming 16 new graduates this year — we are continuing to grow our team organically, demonstrating our commitment to developing talent from within and supporting the next generation of professionals.
Our External Audit team plays a critical role in helping our clients meet their statutory obligations while delivering real value beyond compliance. We support organisations across a broad range of sectors — including corporate, charity, education, housing associations, and SMEs/owner-managed businesses — with services such as statutory audits, accounts preparation, consolidations, independent examinations, and grant audits.
As a Graduate Trainee, you will gain first-hand experience auditing businesses and organisations of all sizes, from large national groups to small and medium-sized enterprises, charities, and housing associations. The scope of our work is wide and varied — one week you may be carrying out fieldwork for a housing association, and the next, supporting a fast-growing private business or charity.
You will work directly with clients across the UK, developing strong professional relationships and gaining valuable insights into how different organisations operate. Alongside your practical experience, you will undertake professional training with ICAS, providing you with the opportunity to qualify as a Chartered Accountant while building a solid foundation in audit and assurance.
As part of our collaborative and growing team, you will be supported by senior colleagues who are committed to developing talent, promoting professional advancement, and delivering excellent client service. With a department made up of 2 Partners, 2 Directors, and a diverse team of managers, qualified staff, and 24 CA trainees, you will benefit from close guidance, mentoring, and the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals.
This is a role that offers true variety, excellent training, and the chance to contribute to meaningful work across sectors. You will be part of a team that prides itself on quality, transparency, and deep sector knowledge — with a commitment to helping clients succeed while investing in the professional growth of its people.

- Assisting in accounts preparation
- Assisting in audit assignments
- Liaising with the full range of clients – private, public and charitable sectors
- Any other appropriate tasks, as directed
