Generator Service Engineers
WB Power Services is looking for Generator Service Engineers to join our team during an exciting period of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled and motivated engineers to be part of a leading business in the power generation industry.

The Role
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on a variety of diesel generator sets.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
- Troubleshoot control panel issues, including replacing components when necessary.
- Conduct Load Banking and mains failure testing in line with customer needs.
- Source and order parts required for maintenance and repairs.
- Stay up to date with training and industry developments to enhance technical skills.
- Complete and submit detailed service reports promptly.
- Schedule and coordinate repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
- Work closely with the internal service team to maintain effective communication and teamwork.
The Person
- Time-served generator engineer or qualified to NVQ Level 3.
- Generator experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong understanding of electronics and mechanical components, including engines and alternators.
- Willing to work overtime, including mid-week, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
- Able to participate in an on-call rota when required.
- Capable of completing and understanding risk assessments.
- Experience in a mobile engineering role is beneficial.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Comfortable dealing with a wide range of customers across different industries.
What We Offer

- Overtime paid after 40 hours, with an estimated OTE of £55k – £70k
