As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial handover through to final commissioning, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The role involves frequent travel to sites across the UK, meaning flexibility and willingness to travel are essential. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining CRM records in Protean, ensuring all updates are logged in real-time.
  • Overseeing project financials, ensuring cash flow is managed effectively.
  • Coordinating engineers and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring compliance with WB Power Services' ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 policies.
  • Managing supplier orders and invoices, ensuring they align with company timelines.
  • Supporting the appraisal process for project administrators and engineers.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A background in mechanical, electrical, or construction industries.
  • Experience in the generator industry (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong project management skills, including coordinating teams and managing budgets.
  • A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and offer alternative solutions.
  • Familiarity with IT systems and project management software.
  • The ability to work in a hybrid role, splitting time between home, office, and project sites.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK to attend project sites as required.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Senior progression opportunities within a growing business
  • Company vehicle or allowance
  • Private healthcare
  • Expenses covered for hotels, food, and travel when working away from home
