Team Leader – Wiltech Acoustics

Wiltech Acoustics — now proudly part of Rehlko (formerly Kohler Energy) — is entering an exciting phase of growth and investment.

Now integrated into Rehlko’s global energy-resilience group, Wiltech continues to build on its reputation as a leading UK specialist in acoustic canopies, generator enclosures, and industrial noise-control engineering.

Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the press brake and laser machine team, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
  • Set and monitor weekly objectives, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to Wiltech’s high standards.
  • Ensure team members adhere to ISO9001 policies and safety standards.
  • Provide expert advice on material and tooling requirements, ensuring the team is fully equipped for each task.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, holiday requests, and attendance tracking.
  • Communicate with the Production Team and other Team Leaders to resolve any issues and maintain an efficient production flow.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proven experience in setting and operating CNC press brake machines and laser machines
  • Competent in using engineering measurement equipment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to production demands.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
  • Hours - Afternoons 2pm till 10pm (15% shift allowance) / Nights 10pm till 6am (30% shift allowance).
