Our fully integrated manufacturing site in Loughborough manages every stage of production in‑house from raw material processing and fabrication through to welding, painting, and final assembly of bespoke acoustic units. The Role: A Quality Paint Inspector (QI) ensures that all painted components meet required standards before progressing through production or being released to customers. The role focuses on consistent paint quality, surface preparation accuracy, and compliance with specifications.

  • Perform in-process checks for painting at every stage, including visual assessments, DFT, WFT, paint adhesion, and P.I.G tests.
  • Ensure compliance with surface preparation processes, checking profiles in accordance with MTSP 187.
  • Ensure the correct environmental conditions are maintained in the paint booth.
  • Monitor, calibrate, and record all relevant equipment on QC forms, controlling calibration periods.
  • Lead internal audits throughout the audit cycle and drive continuous improvement activities in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Conduct incoming material inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain full traceability of all quality records and ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Perform final visual inspections, checking for damage, burrs, paint quality, and part markings.
