Now integrated into Rehlko’s global energy-resilience group, Wiltech continues to build on its reputation as a leading UK specialist in acoustic canopies, generator enclosures, and industrial noise-control engineering. Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. This is a superb opportunity for a Laser Operative to join the business through this rapid period of growth.
Responsibilities:
- Work in accordance with Wilmott Group procedures and bespoke systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients
- Inspect parts and materials using a variety of inspection methods
- Follow and interpret technical drawings and nest sheets
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of work areas
- Use engineering measuring tools (e.g. Verniers, callipers, micrometres)
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
- Inspect and check materials before production
- Handle materials safely for transport to other departments
- Clean and prepare finished parts for the next stage of production
- Meet tight deadlines and productivity targets
- Report issues, delays, or concerns promptly
- Support other departments with general duties when required
- Comply with all health & safety procedures and report any hazards
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE at all times
Hours: Static - Days 6am till 2pm, Afternoons 2pm till 10pm (15% shift allowance), Nights 10pm till 6am (30% shift allowance).
