Depot Engineer WB Power Services Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Depot Engineer to join our team based at our Gloucester depot. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, family-run business that puts people first and plays a vital role in powering essential infrastructure across the region. At WBPS, we supply, maintain, and hire generators nationwide. As a key Depot Engineer, you’ll be supporting our Rehlko and Kohler hire generator fleet, ensuring top performance and uptime for key sites across the South West and South Wales, including major infrastructure and utility networks.   The Role Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on diesel generators (20–1500kVA). Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs. Provide occasional field support, using a company vehicle. Collaborate with the service coordination team to ensure efficient scheduling. Maintain accurate records using our in-house system. Collect parts from local suppliers as required. Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with H&S and quality standards.  This is a 5 in 7 contract, primarily covering weekday work but will include weekend work on a rota basis to support business-critical operations   What We’re Looking For Mechanical or electrical background (NVQ Level 3 or time served). Hands-on experience with diesel generators Comfortable diagnosing and resolving faults independently. Strong communication skills – able to liaise confidently with customers and colleagues. Full UK driving licence (max 6 points). Towing experience is a bonus – training provided.
